The Art of Self Care. 


Register for one or all six! Each session begins with a presentation from a local business specializing in various aspects of wellbeing, followed by a movement class led by Laura Armenta. Laura is founder of Armentality Movement Arts Center in Grand Rapids.

1:00-2:00 BODY CONDITIONING: Be radiant, powerful, and empowered! Challenge your muscles with this smart and efficient holistic fitness body conditioning session.

12:30-1:00 EXPLORE RAW FOODS with Dawn Hamilton. Make and taste something amazing!
1:00-2:00 AGE-DEFYING STRETCHES: Gain a foundation of basic stretching techniques for all ages.

Oct 2 - $25
12:30-1:00 BENEFITS OF REFLEXOLOGY with Certified Reflexologist and Massage Therapist, Jean Reverman. Chair or foot massages included!
1:00-2:30 PARTNER YOGA WORKSHOP: A healthy, playful, and life-affirming yoga asana session for two! If you have a partner, great! If not, you will find one in class. This workshop is suitable for absolutely everyone.

Oct 9 - $35
12:30-1:00 SEASONAL HERBALISM with Katie Prudon. Discover the importance of creating with plants throughout each season. Learn basic plants to identify in our bioregion for food and medicine.
1:00-2:30 CREATIVE MOVEMENT FOR GROWN-UPS: Allow your body to move organically and respond naturally to impulses and responses to music and space. In this session we will explore all movement possibilities, using spontaneous creativity, journaling, emotion, and sensory awareness to guide us.

12:45-1:00 FOR THE LOVE OF PETS: with Susan Rhem-Westhoff. Learn about pet communication. One student will win a free reading.
1:00-2:30 ANCIENT DANCE FOR WOMEN: Be ready to be empowered! Travel in time and experience enchanting movement and musical rhythms. Enhance your feminine energy and strengthen your body equally.
