The Holland Area Arts Council, the Holland Museum and Hope College’s Kruizenga Museum collaborate on an educational offering for area upper elementary and middle school students. Cultural Classroom brings classes to downtown Holland for a three-in-one cultural package. Each trip will include stops at all three downtown cultural institutions. Students will tour the exhibits at the Holland Museum and Kruizenga Art Museum and then head to the Holland Area Arts Council's Studio for an art project relating to what they saw at the exhibitions.
This walkable tour/ of the three galleries is a perfect half-day trip. Cultural Classroom be a wonderful addition to the area schools’ arts programming. Individuals of all ages will enjoy learning more about the principles of design as our Creative Technician guides participants through an engaging and hands-on art project.
