Why: To showcase the work of regional photographers
Awards: Grand Prize, 1st place, 2nd, 3rd place awards with two Honorable Mentions

All manner of photographic images are accepted if they were created in the last 3 years and do not have copy- right issues (obtained from the internet or not your own) and not previously displayed HAAC. Images can be digital, digitally painted, altered, cyanotype, daguerreotype etc. Film, video, stop motion and projection are accepted as long as you supply the correct equipment and instructions and or set up in the gallery. No overt pornography.
How to submit: Email Mary@hollandarts.org up to three photographic entries as a JPEG with a maximum of 1920 pixels on the longest side and no larger than a 2 MB file size. Save you image with your last name first, first name next and title of the work. Example: smith.john.birdsinflight
In the body of the email with your attached images list your full name, address, phone number and sales prices of your framed work adding 40% commission to the Holland Area Arts Council. All work must be for sale.
The fee is $20.00 for one image, $25.00 for two and $30.00 for three images.
After emailing the images follow this link or go to www.hollandarts.org to pay with a credit card. You may also pay with cash or check to the Holland Area Arts Council within 4 days of submiting your images. A check may be sent to Holland Area Arts Council 150 E. 8th St. Holland, MI 49423 attention FOTOG.
Results of acceptance or declination will be emailed August 10-11
Upon acceptance please deliver or ship your professionally framed photographs between September 1-5. All work must be labeled on the back and professionally framed with a wire and no larger than 5’ x 6’ in total size. No sawtooth hangers, wireless inexpensive or broken frames will be accepted. Frames must be primarily mini- mal in black, whie or grey. No packing peanuts. If delivering work please retain your packaging. If shipping your work please include return shipping if you want it back.
