We invite you to engage in the Holland Area Arts Council's 
Securing our Legacy campaign.

Our story began 45 years ago with a handful of visionary artists who aspired to become the leading advocates for the arts in our Lakeshore community. For nearly a half century, we have inspired people of all ages to explore and experience their unique artistic expression, one that leads to discovering purpose and fulfillment in life. The Holland Area Arts Council is the only organization in the greater Holland area that offers–in one location–hands-on arts education, performance programs, art appreciation courses, and exhibitions. It is the one organization of its kind with outreach initiatives for people who otherwise would not have access to these creative opportunities. Finally, we have been our local artists’ co-operative and their most effective voice throughout the years.

Your support and financial investment are vital for enabling us to build an endowment to ensure that the arts will forever have a champion here in Holland. You have an opportunity to make a long-lasting, real and meaningful impact by:
  • Ensuring that people will realize their potential through a variety of arts experiences
  • Enabling families to have a place where they can grow stronger by experiencing the arts together
  • Promoting the arts as a means of attracting and retaining businesses and our young people to the greater Holland area. 
  • Building our community on a strong foundation of arts and culture

By June 1, 2013, the results of this campaign will allow us to retire our debt, address critical facilities needs and continue offering great programming to our constituents.
