Bring the family to "Hocus Pocus", a Magical Show featuring world-renowned magician, Steve Marshall. A truly creative, professional musician, the Arts Council is proud to present him as a guest for the second time in one year. Marshall performed at the Arts Council in March and delighted the audience with his illusions and hilarious showmanship. This special Studio event will bring the same wonder and joy with a spooky twist! Help us celebrate The Studio as the Arts Council’s newest art-making space.
Tickets include the magic show, art-making, snacks and even a lesson in making a magic trick. Help us celebrate The Studio as the Arts Council’s newest art-making space as part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration. Seating is limited. Tickets are $10 per person and go on sale September 30.
Steve Marshall has been working as a magician for over 30 years. He has performed for everyone from couples at restaurant tables in New York City to an estimated audience of one hundred million people on a TV show in China, giving him the unique ability to tailor his shows to all kinds of audiences. He has created original magic effects for companies like Louis Vutton, Cartier, Universal Studios and the Walt Disney Company. And in August, Marshall made an appearance on Penn and Teller’s Fool Me Show, a popular television show that challenges magic masters.

On Saturday, September 16, we traveled through time starting in 1967 when the Arts Council was founded, making stops at each decade for art projects and family-friendly activities. Food, refreshments and, of course, ice cream & BIRTHDAY CAKE were served, and members of the whole community came to enjoy the free event.
