The Artist’s Table
A Celebration of Creativity and Community
Saturday, September 27
Imagine an extraordinary dining experience where every table is a work of art. A table inspired by Marvel Comics, another echoing the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, or perhaps a tribute to Impressionism, Pop Art, or Georgia O’Keeffe. Welcome to The Artist’s Table — an unforgettable evening where art, imagination, food and community come together in support of the arts. Our culinary partners will include Mother Tongue Kitchen, Doeb’s Pizzeria, and Cakabakery West. This one-of-a-kind fundraising event invites you and your guests to become the artists. Purchase a table with your friends and transform it into a tribute to your favorite artist or artistic movement.

EXHIBITIONS
We are honored to showcase three professional galleries: the Barbara H. Padnos Gallery, the Jane Armstrong Gallery, and the Lievense Zobkiw Gallery. Here we offer a range of exhibitions that highlight the work of local, regional, and emerging artists. Our galleries feature contemporary art, community-based projects, and multidisciplinary work that invites reflection, dialogue, and connection. Exhibitions change regularly, so there's always something new to experience.
ADULT ART CLASSES
Our adult classes are open to everyone - whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or expanding your practice as a working artist. Taught by a range of experienced instructors, including practicing artists and professional art educators, our courses are designed to be welcoming, challenging, and skill-building.
Offerings include drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and more. No matter your experience level, you’ll find a place to grow creatively in community.
YOUTH ART CLASSES
Our youth programs invite kids and teens ages 5–17 to explore, create, and grow as artists. Classes are taught by a team of professional art educators and working artists who understand how to support both emerging skills and creative confidence.
Students experiment with a variety of media—including drawing, comics, painting, ceramics, and sculpture—in a supportive environment that balances structure with imagination. Whether they’re trying something new or deepening an existing passion, young artists of all levels are welcome.
ADULT CERAMICS CLASSES
Our ceramics studio offers classes and open studio time for adults at all experience levels—from beginners learning the basics to experienced artists refining their practice.
Classes are taught by skilled ceramicists and art educators, and cover wheel throwing, handbuilding, surface design, and glazing techniques. Open Studio access is available for those enrolled in classes or with prior experience. The space includes pottery wheels, handbuilding tools, a glaze lab, and full kiln firing services - all in a welcoming, community-oriented environment.
IMPROV CLASSES
Returning towards the end of September -
Join Patrick Clark, award-winning educator, actor and speaker coach, on Tuesdays at the Holland Area Arts Council for a drop-in improv class. Engage your active listening skills, learn to trust your instincts and fellow improv-ers, boost your confidence and creativity and exercise your funny bone.
